We have one full-time 1.0 (80 hours every 2 weeks) position in our Imaging department. This full-time position is rotating shifts.
This candidate will need to complete or will have completed a 6 week on line training course and pass the ARRT registry.
The course consists of radiography physics, principles of radiographic exposure, digital processing, and radiation safety. The positioning component will cover all the primary x-ray projections performed in hospitals and clinics.
You will work alongside the staff technologists and assist in all aspects of the Imaging department including, but not limited to, patient transport, taking of general x-rays, assisting with high level exams and completion of documentation in Excellian/Epic and PACS.
The right candidate for this position would preferably have some experience in patient care and handling. River’s Edge will assist with the training program for a committed candidate.

This full-time position consists of primarily 2p-1030p shifts but will also require covering the 10p-630a shift when the overnight tech is off. This position includes a maximum of every other weekend work rotation. This is an opportunity for a department wide position and will require training in General X-Ray, CT, Portables that include IP, ED, inter-op and PACU. You will also train for C-arm, in and out of surgery.
