Radiologic Technologist

Regular Full-Time


River’s Edge Hospital is looking to fill two full-time 1.0 (80 hours every 2 weeks) positions in our Imaging department.  This full-time position consists of primarily 2p-1030p shifts but will also require covering the 10p-630a shift when the overnight tech is off.  This position includes a maximum of every other weekend work rotation.  This is an opportunity for a department wide position and will require training in General X-Ray, CT, Portables that include IP, ED, inter-op and PACU.  You will also train for C-arm, in and out of surgery.

All personnel in this position are responsible for performing excellent quality diagnostic radiography and CT imaging exams under the direction of a radiologist or referring provider.  This position requires taking call on your weekend for emergency surgical procedures.  Certain individuals will also be accountable for delegated areas of authority, maintaining quality assurance and quality control records. There may be opportunities for training new imaging department personnel, radiologic technology students or serving on specific hospital committees as requested.


Additional education/certification may be required for specific radiographic modalities such as mammography.


Education and degree required from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. License/Certification: ARRT in radiography, or obtains certification within 2 months of hire.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience with patient care. Experience and competency in radiologic diagnostic procedures, including but not limited to general radiographic exams, surgical (C-Arm) exams, portable exams, trauma exams and experience in CT is a plus.  Certification in BLS, or will be certified within 3 months of hire by River's Edge education staff.

Minimum Salary

USD $24.82/Hr.

Shift Differential

$5,000 sign on bonus Shift differential: $1.50 for 2nd shift and $2.00 for 3rd shift
